Hi @Lucy1192
Thanks for asking this question..
A pool waiver can definitely be a good extra layer of protection, especially for properties with higher-risk amenities like pools.
Many hosts use one to clearly state pool rules, acknowledge that guests use the pool at their own risk, and confirm that children must be supervised.
That said, waivers are usually strongest when combined with clear safety measures and good documentation. I’d recommend:
• Keep all pool rules written clearly in your listing and house manual
• Have visible signage near the pool area
• Make sure safety equipment, gates, lighting, and fencing meet local requirements
• Keep all communication on Airbnb so expectations are documented
• Take regular photos of the pool area to show it’s maintained properly
A waiver may not prevent every claim, but it can help show that guests were informed of the risks and agreed to the rules before using the pool.
Let me know if it helps 👍🏻 👍🏻

Hi @Lucy1192 😊,
Thank you for asking this question here!
How big is your pool?
I read some great ideas from Vivek, which one are you going to implement?
