views but no bookings

Hi there,

I have listed my personal residence for the time I am traveling, I have taken down as much personal things as possible and have a very honest description.

The Airbnb website and app have been giving so many issues. I cannot get around the : new to Airbnb " no matter how many times I watch and click and contact them, so I can only see the amount of views when I go to the listing, I cannot see any stats at all . Airbnb support was going to fix it , but they did not.

My question is what would you all think is the reason for no bookings ? please be honest but try to be nice, this is my only home and I have done my best to make it super cozy and homey.

Thank you !!

#1 - Absolutely offer at least 30% discount until you get 2-3 reviews

#2 - Offer 1 night bookings (not on weekends i.e. make Friday a 2 day minimum as Sat imo

#3 - Pricing, Pricing, Pricing 🙂

Happy to walk through feedback on your listing on the telephone and you can make changes on the fly if you feel is appropriate. I am on CST here in AL and I am an Alabama Community Leader (volunteer for Airbnb and hosts)

Regards

Colin

@Pien15

I know Airbnb recommends the experienced Guest being turned on, but when you are new that market is a little harder to attract.  Opening your market doesn't mean you accept all jus you will talk to all and decide.

I can not tell if you aren't using the new Listing Discount, it really helps when you are new.
