Yes, @Patrick568 , it's happening here, too, and everywhere, I think. It's to be expected.
Every single cancellation will suddenly be COVID-19-related no matter what's really the case.
The system can't differentiate, and it certainly can't check each excuse. My goodness they must be swamped in customer service.
The bright side is that you likely didn't want those guests anyway, the ones who will say anything, try anything, to get their way.
That's what I'm telling myself : )
