I had made a month long reservation for a stay in Norway early last January. As you can imagine, the extent of this pandemic was not on anyone's radar. My booking is to start April 20th. As one can imagine, the cost to me was not minor. Both the US government & Norway now ban any foreign travel for the foreseeable future. I have contacted the host several times about changing my stay to some time in the future, presumably after the pandemic has abated, with no response. I thought this was a reasonable request. Does anyone know the policy on this ? And what recourse I have if the host is unresponsive in this matter ?
