Fairly new host here. I am wondering if I will ever get a resolution to my era cover claim that was made on April 3. I have provided all documentation and photos of damage done by guests. In addition, I had a signed document with our cabin rules that I provided. I have gotten a lot of runaround but no resolution. Is this typical? Not feeling that Airbnb is doing all they can to either reimburse me or (worse) deny the claim. Thank you!
@Stacy318 I've seen a lot of reports from hosts that it's taken around 6 weeks to get a response, but I can't find any hard data on the average wait time.
I have a feeling that if a printout of your cabin rules was a necessary piece of evidence, your case might not be a complicated one. Those don't tend to turn out well.
Thank you for your reply. They did not ask for the Cabin rules, I provided it to them because part of the rules that the guest sign is not to bring in any drugs or drug paraphernalia. This couple brought in marijuana and paraphernalia. I wanted Airbnb to see that this was a blatant violation in addition to the damage they caused. I have spoken to different representatives but unfortunately no one seems to be able to resolve the issue and I would at least like Them to tell me if they are going to decline my claim. At least then I have closure to this. Really annoying.
