Airbnb Host Support Is Atrocious Now!

This is ridiculous! They used to have pretty good support and sometimes you'd have to wait on hold but only recently have they started what is basically a "go away" policy on phone support. Don't have any reservations within the next 72 hours, DONT CALL US! They hang up on you and tell you to use their online support. I've been trying that for THREE DAYS and have had support close my tickets and wrap them into threads still open from WEEKS ago about totally separate issues. I've been told I'll hear back quickly and my case is escalated...only to hear NOTHING and then speak to another online agent, then another.

 

I'm losing tons of money from my issue in a time where every penny counts and have hosted thousands of Airbnb guests and can't say when I've been more angry with the company than now! It feels like a cheap way to save on labor costs, to make hosts have to deal with ridiculous numbers of attempts to get simple issues resolved!

Customer service is beyond bad. You go to "chat" to avoid the phones and you get a message saying a rep will be with you in 5 minutes. 30 minutes later.......No rep.

Try calling? Forget it.

But you will get a call two weeks later. By then the issue is over and/or the revenue lost.

@Christine615 Then perhaps we should all message that we have a problem every week and then if we do actually have an issue in a week or a months time we will never be more than a week away from a call with Airbnb.

In my opinion that beats @Ute42 s suggestion of waiting till November.

I don't even feel comfortable talking about it, given the unpleasant situations in support of Airbnb in the U.S. region, but here all the issues are solved quickly. I live and work in Spain, but I always turn to the Russian support (I feel more comfortable because of the language of communication)). Questions about reservations are solved in a moment, within an hour. There was only one exception, in summer (apparently, it was the peak of complaints with the shortest possible staff), when I waited more than a month for an answer on "security".
