I am a host, and I use the AirBnB app on my iPhone as well as through a browser on my laptop. Recently when a guest canceled I went to my Inbox. The ONLY message there was from months ago when I had reached out to ABnB support. All other messages were missing! This happens on the iOS app and on my browser. I can bring up a message thread if I click on the actual reservation, but that's not how this used to work. Anyone else having this issue?
You probably are routed to your Travellers Inbox instead of the Hosting Inbox.
Choose "Inbox" from here: Hosting
Since Airbnb uses the traveller inbox for support of hosting issues, it sounds like you are in your traveller inbox, @Dennis696 . On your browser, make sure you are in hosting (the screen that comes up when you just go to Airbnb.com has a "switch to hosting" in the top right corner. Or go straight to airbnb.com/hosting. In the app, make sure you "switch to hosting" through the profile tab at the bottom.
The default these days is "travelling" so switching is necessary to get to your hosting dashboard and inbox.
