Canada government assistance during covid-19

Anyone in BC Canada - is there any way I can access assistance the government is offering for the hit to my AirBnB property? I do pay taxes yearly and I submit it as rental income on there. I do not have a business license. Can anyone offer advice? I rely on AirBnB income to be able to be a stay-at home-mom. This isn’t just “extra” cash- it’s really needed for us and at first glance we will not qualify for any assistance in this time of covid-19. Any help? Anyone in the same boat?

Hi @Sherri27
Just wondering if you did apply and receive CERB payments?
I did but just today received an email from CRA stating that 'rental income' doesn't qualify as self-employment. I spent a great deal of time on the phone and seems I need to proactively prove that my rental of two bedrooms in my home isn't a passive investment income but very much self-employment!
Just wondering if other Canadian hosts are running into the same issues.
Thanks!
