Anyone else having issues with giving referal host links to help others set up Airbnb? We sent one to our neighbors who set one up, and they said they used it, but Airbnb says they didn’t so we are not getting the $540 bonus as we were expecting. This was our first time and we were hoping they’d make an exception if they did it incorrectly. This is not a fault of ours, and we just wish we were treated with more grace and respect since it was our first time but we escalated it to a manager and they said they couldn’t per the terms. I just feel like this is not how we should be treated as super hosts. We worked super hard to help our neighbors set theirs up (they are older in their 70s and wanted to for extra income) but now they are our competition and we did not receive the bonus. It’s super frustrating and saddening we just feel like the customer service did not care. Did this happen to anyone else or have bad customer service experience as super hosts?
