Guest canceling reservation early. Who needs to cancel and make that change? Them or me?
When the guest wants to leave earlier than their due date by 10 days. Who should cancel l? The guest or host. I have a strict cancellation policy also.
@Kay921 The guest. If they start hassling you for a refund, just tell them that Airbnb deals with the payments and refunds, according to the cancellation policy in place, not the host. And if you get a message saying the guest wants to cancel, and asking you to accept or decline, make sure you decline. If you accept, it goes down as a host cancellation, with all the penalties attached.
