I am Jennifer in Entiat, WA. My husband and I just moved here because we stayed at an Airbnb that we loved, saw the property was for sale, and made an offer! We live in the main house and Airbnb the cottage. We are in a rural area on 5 acres and are about 35 minutes from the nearest town, so most of our guests come to relax/get out of the city or do outdoor activities. I've been hosting since June 2024.

@Bhumika We’ve had guests come for speed flying (which I had never heard of!), hiking, and hunting, and we were told to expect a lot of boaters/fishers in the summer and snow-mobilers in the winter. We are about 40 minutes from two nearby tourist towns, so I think most of our guests want to be able to spend a day hanging out in one of the touristy areas, but return to a quiet area and be outside for the rest of the trip.

Do you have any nearby shops that offer boat or snow mobiles for tent? Do you provide such information to your guests?

@Bhumika I hadn’t thought about that. I imagine there are boat rentals nearby for sure, so I will definitely look into that. I’m sure guests would be interested. Thanks!
