Just need advice on what avenue I should take.

Good evening

I have been hosting for a few months now and have enjoyed it. Today I got a call from the cleaning crew that the guest left my sheets, both beds and towels so disgusting they are not salvageable. I will be purchasing more which is understandable however, am I wrong to think a guest may give a "heads up" on the accident that happened? My question is should I request the reimbursement for the items I need to purchase or is this truly wear and tear?

Hi @Dominique1467 - thanks for posting!  I've moved your question over to our "Help" section to give you some more visibility.  Hopefully someone will be along soon with some advice for you.

In the meantime you might like to take a look here for some information about Host damage protection.

You can and I would but it may result in a guest providing a negative review.

you will of course need photo/video evidence of said bedding/towels

please leave an honest review

Thank you for the response. I will leave an honest review. Torn between requesting reimbursement.
