Long stay cancellation

Hello, I have a a potential booking for a guest for over 28 days. Due to covid travel restrictions he may need to cancel or postpone nearer the time. I'm happy with this and I have a flexible cancellation policy but as its over 28 days it seems I cannot cancel without the guest being charged.  Is there a way to override this, or if guest cancels can I choose to give a full refund? Will I still be charged air bnb fees if I do a full refund?

Can they amend the booking with no charge? Thanks

You can choose to refund your fee it would be up to Airbnb if they want to refund their fee

you don't get charged the Airbnb fee your guest does

if there is a lockdown or tier restrictions Airbnb have been refunding guests in full.

guests are now booking knowing their travel could be affected by Covid so are doing so at their own risk

@Hannah815   Do not cancel a reservation from your end!  If the guest needs to cancel, the guest does the cancellation.

If a host cancels, you receive many penalties.

You are always free to authorize a refund to the guest.
