Hello everyone! 😊
Welcome to the Community Center! 👋 I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.
Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:
@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe.
@Bhumika : 🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.
@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.
@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community. I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘 and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌
@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new.
@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘
@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲
Now it's your turn! Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? And is there something special about the location of your accommodation that you'd like to share?
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Warm regards🌻,
Elisa

Hallo! I am Jafar Werfete from Kaimana, a small city in West Papua Province of Indonesia. I am a guide of fishing and dive and we have packages of those activities. We are Papuan people who work in a small group to serve for guests who come here for leisure and do some activities here, like snorkeling, diving, fishing, kayaking, beaching, islands hopping, bird watching, or honeymoon. To encourage more people and network for our business we are so glad to join the Airbnb. Warm greetings from Kaimana, West Papua
Hello @Jafar15 👋
A huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us. Are you an Experience Host with Airbnb?
Feel free to start a conversation and ask any questions you may have! 😊
Hello! I am Elena, I started using AirBnB to occasionally rent my apartment in Paris in September. I am Italian and live between France and the Italian Alps. I was very relieved to find this space: for a while I was convinced that the only place where to ask questions was the Facebook local group but I have no intention of ever exposing myself to that environment. So thanks for thinking of this!!
Hello @Elena5007 👋
It's great to have you here with us! Welcome to the Community Center! 🎉 How has your hosting experience been so far?
The Community Center has so much information for hosts. If you head to the top of the page you'll see the 🔍 search bar - if you type a question in there, you'll get lots of results.
You can also ask your own questions if you have something particular, or even ask for feedback on your listing! 😍
Hello everyone,
thanks @Elisa for the intro!
My name is Aysu. I have been a host in New York for many years and I’m thrilled to share that I’m currently waitlisted for an experience I’m incredibly passionate about. Fingers crossed for approval🤞 I can’t wait to invite you all to join once it’s ready! Stay tuned!
Hello @Aysu15 👋
Congratulations on submitting your Experience! I'd love to hear more about it 😊
We're so happy that you're here. It would be great to hear how your journey has developed from hosting a listing to becoming an Experience host! 😊
Hi all, I'm Pyo from South Korea. I used to work as a product development chemist in England, and now I am back in Korea starting to rent out a small house that my parents let their guests to stay 🙂
Hello @표표0 👋
Congratulations and a huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us.
There are other new hosts just like you who are sharing their journey here > New Hosts: How Do You Feel About Starting Your Hosting Adventure?
We can't wait to see how your journey develops. You can also ask your own questions if you have something particular, or even ask for feedback on your listing!
Hello, everyone.
My name is Rose Gob, and I live in the Philippines. I am an HR Consultant, writer, and painter. I use AirBnB to find places to stay during my consultancy engagement travels. I also have a condo unit, which I host with my sister Cath.
Hello @Mary-Rose18 👋
It's great to have you here on the Community Center with us. It's lovely to hear that you're a host and a guest. How long have you been hosting your Airbnb with your sister for?
Hi, My name is Joanne. I hope this is the right place to post my self introduction. I also left evolve and jumped water here. 🙂 My listing got good reviews in the beginning with evolve until later it got bad reviews but evolve failed to notify me. It was about the bugs in the lawn 🙂 If I had known that feedback in time I may have addressed that before guests left. Anyway I will do it myself now. Not sure if a co-host will help since I am remote from the house. I tried to find a co-host. But one co-host airbnb recommended to me is from Canada. I think it is too far. Thanks!
Hello @J399 👋
This is absolutely the right place for a self introduction. It's so great to have you here on the Airbnb Community Center with us!
The best place to find a Co-Host is to head to: How to find and become an experienced Co-Host on Airbnb?
But don't forget to come back as the Community Center will be a great space for you to get advice from other Hosts. 😍 Here are a couple of my favorite boards that you might find helpful:
✨ Ask about your listing -This is a fantastic board where you can ask other hosts to provide feedback on your listing. It's a great opportunity to get fresh perspectives and make improvements.
✨ Advice on your space - If you have any questions or need guidance specifically related to your space, this board is perfect for you. Whether it's about amenities, home decor, or even bedding choices, our community is here to assist you.
Greetings to you all from beautiful Greece! I wish you all a happy new year with health and peace!
I was born in Greece and have been hosting on Airbnb for 3 years!
I really like freediving, cycling and calisthenics.
I just joined the community center to expand my knowledge and acquaintances!
