Occupancy Taxes in Michigan

Occupancy taxes are currently being charged on Michigan bookings even if the stay is longer than 30 days.  This is unnecessary and even illegal.  Money in Airbnb’s pocket.  Could we please get this corrected?

steve, i just noticed that ABB has more than doubled the collection of the occupancy tax from 6% to 12% as well.  not sure why.  i've contacted the company and am awaiting an answer.  i also see that they've increase the collection about the same % for friends of mine that rent in IN.  are you seeing this on your rental?
