Pay less up front

Hallo,

for a trip in April, I clicked the option allowing me to pay just a portion of a booking's total fees at the time of booking.

However, due to a technical mistake (Airbnb' said there was a technical problem)  the entire amount is going to be debited from my account now. Airbnb says they can't do anything about it. Is there anythiing I can say to them to make them change their minds?

@Anu5029   I wonder if you contacted the company or bank holding the debit card if you could explain the mistake by Air BNB and block the debit.  Also, you would cancel the booking as soon as possible and get a refund of both the host and Air BNB fees.  The only problem is it might take too long the actually get the refund so if you could get your debit card company to block the debit that would be preferable.  Good luck!
