Thank you so much for your detailed explanation on jasmines! I grew up in Hawaii and jasmines are one of my favorite flowers (along with gardenia, tuberose, honeysuckle). Which variety is the night blooming jasmine? Iโ€™ve heard that one is really aromatic!

Hi @Lorina14 . Iโ€™m happy you liked the content. These jasmines bloom by dusk. The night queen belongs to a different genus - Cestrum nocturnum.  Yes of course it has a strong fragrance, however itโ€™s not part of the celebration we have for the Jasminum  genus. I love all of them for sure ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฅฐ

Hi @Dr-Jayanthi1

thank you for this amazing comment. ๐Ÿ˜

Iโ€™m impressed by how connected this flower is to Indian culture. I didnโ€™t know itโ€™s also used in treating skin conditions.

Do you have many jasmine at home?

@Elisa - happy that you love Jasmines and liked reading a bit about it. And yes all the pictures provided in the content are all from my farm house. I have the three common varieties of Jasmines all blooming to glory during their seasons (March to September). I enjoy picking the buds and making the strands.

Itโ€™s been great being a part of the community here, everyone is generally friendly and helpful and there are a lot of good tips and things to learn from a host or guestโ€™s perspective!

I think one of the best tips Iโ€™ve picked up was a

host mentioned buying stove top protectors and those were a lifesaver for my gas stove! They wash easily and have saved me time in cleaning my burners. I love helping out and sharing as Iโ€™ve learned a lot from participating in these boards and hopefully if I ever have an issue I hope to get different perspectives to help me out.

Hi @Lorina14

I'm happy to know that this community plays such an important role for you!

I have no doubt that you'll always find support here! ๐Ÿ˜

Have you ever asked for help?

Terve (Hello!)@Elisa

Kunka se mennee?

(Kvรครคni-Finnsh for "How are you?")

News from Norja/ Norway?

My part of the northern part of Norway has had the best summer in years;

May, June, July and the three first weeks of August!

Usually if we are lucky we have summer in the last part of June, July and the first part

of August.

For me my main months in Airbnb are in the winter between Februar and April-May.

Then the Lyngen Alps area, east of Tromsoe in the nortern part of Norway, have a huge number of skiing tourists from almost all over the world.

I simply love to meet my guests personally and not through a keybox. From what my guests tell me that is a very nice gesture. Because of the terrible Corona-pandemic people got to be "strangers" to one another, by meeting my guests in person that is my way to take back the natural contact.

Greetings to you from me Per!

Hyvvรครค viikkonloppua/ Have a great weekend!

Welcome once again.

Hi @Per-Kuttainen-Ylimattila0

Thank you for the introduction! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I didnโ€™t know the weather could be so lovely there.

What do you usually recommend your guests to do?

Warm regards,
