Would not host again - What is result for guest?

I've seen this thread a few times but can't see a definitive answer as to whether the guest knows, from your hosting review, that you have selected 'Would not host again'.

@John_Mary1No, guests don't see that, or the star ratings you give them.

Thank you.  As I understand it, it means that the guest will not be able to Instant Book with a host in future if that host has selected 'recommendations' as a criteria for Instant Booking. Is that correct?

@John_Mary1 I'm honestly not sure. I've read that leaving 1* means they won't be able to IB at all with anyone, but I don't know for sure. And I don't know if a guest has some recommendations, but some that say they wouldn't host again, if that guest can still book with other hosts.

I have never used IB, so hopefully a host who does can clarify here. 

BTW, hosts who don't use IB can't see guest star ratings, we only have written reviews to go on, so please don't leave low stars and then a written review that sounds like the guest was fine.
