@Vaa0  You will get a notification to leave a review after the check-out day.

What do you mean, who is responsible? If you find a place not as described or pictured in the listing info, of course the host is responsible.

@Sarah977  he is talking about Airbnb PLUS listing. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the host can not write or change the text and list the amenities by himself, it is all done by Airbnb. Even photos are made, chosen, and posted by Airbnb.  So if there are some amenities missing then maybe it is Airbnb's fault or the host changed or removed those amenities.

@Vaa0I would rely on photos. Is there an oven and smart tv on them or not?

But keep in mind that Airbnb is constantly changing something on this platform and we have to check our amenities and calendars regularly bc they tend to magically disappear and change on their own. This is a very buggy platform.

"things were not as promoted"

What was different?
Can you post the link of the listing?

reaction to : Just review the stay in the normal way

But if a person from airbnb check the place (that is what they do with airbnb plus) we have to trust that they checked everything if nothing has been changed after visit then the inspection is wrong and thus the listing which has been approved.

respond: if i want to rely on trust i book airbnb and read listing, check photo's and read reviews. If i want to have more guarantee i go to a plus which has been checked and if the discripiton/photo's have not been changed after inspection, and it does not match what does this say about inspection?

no not fair its a general question, but it could be oven/microwave and turns out there is not over just microwave, or a smart tv not beeing smart!

@Vaa0 Can I suggest that 'general questions' are a waste of time. We could spend all day creating possible scenarios of what could go wrong but it is totally pointless to do so. Without specifics you are wasting your time and our time.

the question is not general, i gave a general exception. I stayed in a listing that did not match the discripiton the host said all has been the same from day and and AIRBNB aproved it by giving it the label PLUS.  so my question is who is responisble? Who do we review?

@Vincent245 Are you the same person as @Vaa0 ?  You seem to be replying to comments made to them. All very strange

Did you follow the advice Airbnb gives you in your booking confirmation and contact the host within 24 hours of arrival to let them ion what the listing wasn't as described and give them an opportunity to resolve the issues ? @Vaa0  @Vincent245

What amenities/facilities were missing/not as described.

obviously Airbnb cannot be held responsible for anything the host does to change the listing post inspection

were the issues raised in previous reviews ??

As an experienced Superhost yourself how can you not know how Airbnb works?

@Vincent245 You review the host - There is no way Airbnb could be responsible as the host can change things at anytime. My interest is what was different to the description?

@Vaa0 @aa0 you are responsible for reading the full listing description and check that the listing and the amenities meet your requirements. If anything is unclear, you can contact the host before booking

The host is responsible for offering the amenities stated in the listing and for presenting the listing accurately. I do not think there is a standard requirement for full size oven or a Smart TV in Plus listings, a TV is.

I believe the airbnb Plus concept has been more or less abandoned, there is no longer a follow up by airbnb despite the fact that hosts still have the badge. Fair enough some will say as many Plus hosts made significant upgrades at considerable cost and got very little in return.
