android vs iphone

    Over time, has there been much difference between Android and iPhone,  Do they work equally well?  Assuming one is using the latest hardware and everything is updated.

    I have been hosting less than a year and the Airbnb app has seemed very solid in my iPhone 10.  iPad Pro 10 too.   However, I am considering switching to an Android phone and wondering if I am just digging myself into a hole.

   I used to be a programmer, so well appreciate the almost impossible effort to keep up with all the devices and all the OS's.  And whereas Apple won't support releases about five years old, we can install Airbnb on ancient phones far older than that.  I suppose they still work!

    Anyway, back to Android vs iPhone.  Anyone gotten their fingers burnt switching devices?  Thanks so much.

@Thomas2201  I switched to a smartphone android more than two years ago, it was more convenient for me for many reasons. in the application of airbnb there is no difference, everything works as well.
