Hello everyone my name is Chris and my wife Marlene and I have just completed year one hosting. We tore down the front of my office building and rebuilt so our unit is brand new. We have had 85 guests ( some repeats ) and 68 5 star reviews.

We are so thrilled with our success so far and as we move into year 2 we look forward to learning from all of you.

How long did those renovations take you? I bet it was satisfying to see your idea become a reality and then receive lovely feedback from guests on what you'd created. 🤗

@Marlene-and-Chris0  Congrats on your one year and being a Superhost! I highly recommend reading this CC specifically host circle and support my bookings are helpful (others are great but if I only had a small bit of time I’d keep up with those to learn of new updates tot he platform, any glitches in the system impacting your listing, how to prevent issues from happening , improve your listing/house manual/hosting, etc.).

Just a reminder that on the host circle only hosts can see the posts and comments while every other category is public. I didn’t know that at first especially important if you have an active guest issue. I’ve learned a lot from participating here as we all try to help one another.
