Air bnb app update

Hi all - I am 3 + year host and am going stir crazy the last 5 days due to the fact I can’t use the air bnb app. It is asking for a ios13 upgrade-my iPhone 6 - only 3 years old - I am unable to do the upgrade and am now unable to use the app - I have to use safari or google to access bookings etc - so so so “clunky” and very un user friendly... any tips guys?
