One of the things I love about this community is how varied everyone’s hosting journeys are. For some, hosting is a full time focus, while for others it fits alongside other work and commitments. Both paths bring different experiences, challenges and rewards.
I’m curious to hear from you. Do you consider yourself a full time host, a part time host, or somewhere in between? Has that shaped the way you welcome guests and manage your space?
It would be great to share insights with one another, especially for those who might be considering a change in the way they host.
Hi Rebecca, i'm fulltime host, hlad to see you.

Hello, I’m a full-time host. I’m just getting started for now, and my aim is to keep learning and do things better as I go along!
Well, you're in the right place @Adri5609! Have you spent much time on the Community Center? There's so much knowledge here and experienced hosts willing to support you. 😍
You say you've just got started, are you in your first few weeks?
Hello @Rebecca 🙂
Thank you so much for reaching out! Yes, I am a host full time! Looking forward to giving input and learning.
Sincerely,
Danelle
You're welcome @Danielle1997 and welcome to the conversation and the Community Center.
How long have you been hosting full time? 😊
Hi @Rebecca, I dedicate half my time to it, but I would love to be there full time. The customer service from the app is very interesting.
Is that the goal you're working towards @Alejandra1444?
How long have you been hosting for now? Do you think you'll do as @Andrea6232 does and slowly dedicate more time to hosting?
Hello Rebecca,
i'm a full time host. I love putting myself in the guests shoes and feel what would they really like and enjoy while they are traveling. I take care of all the tinny details.
Thanks so much for joining the conversation @Aly2229 - how long have you been a full time host? I'd love to hear more about some of the tiny details that you mentioned!
Hi Rebecca!
I started as a nights and weekends host for two companies with 22 properties. I did that for 2 years while honing my skills and learning as much as I can about the industry. It was fast paced, always demanding. I really learned a lot and not all good . Some of past experience showed me its more about giving a quality service to the hosts/homeowners and of course making memorable stays for the guests vs just getting bookings and lack of any care. I left those companies in 2024 and have launched my own business as an experienced cohost, managing other peoples properties full time.
Now, I love what I do, and I know it shows in the results and reviews!
I took a property from nearly 4 bookings over 6 months and shadow banned (wouldn't turn up in the searches) on Airbnb to one of the top rated places in the area! The guests love it and the owners are so happy. I took that stress and headache away from them and helped them get not just their time back, but helped them have a profitable property!
I've doing my best to grow Seamless Cohost Solutions, and have continued success with my other listings as well. I feel like I've finally found my passion!
I am a full time host and looking forward to adding a few more properties to my portfolio and continue giving homeowners great Roi and guests memorable stays!
Sou Anfitrião, mas não tenho apenas esta atividade. Sou aposentado e tenho nas Locações por Temporada a minha atividade principal.

I'm a host, but that's not my only job. I'm retired, and vacation rentals are my main job.
I truly consider myself a full-time host – from the moment my guests arrive until the time they check out. My main goal is to make sure they feel completely comfortable and at home throughout their stay.
