โVery honoured to achieve this status at BheLs Oasis in London again -
Two questions await all you super fabulous ๐ hosts! at the end.
I'm constantly learning - do check if time permits what can be improved.

Achieving Superhost status is an honour โ it reflects consistency, care, and commitment. But what many donโt see is what happens behind the scenes.
Running an Airbnb isnโt just about great dรฉcor or five-star reviews. Itโs about raising the bar every single day. From handling last-minute bookings and midnight check-ins to sorting out sudden plumbing issues or emergency callouts โ you learn that hospitality doesnโt have office hours.
There are moments when guests arrive late, travel-weary, and youโre still there โ smiling, making sure everything feels like home. There are times when something breaks, floods, or leaks, and youโve got to fix it fast โ because comfort canโt wait until morning.
Being a Superhost means you stay calm under pressure, keep standards high, and continue to surprise guests with your warmth and reliability. You learn to anticipate needs, adapt quickly, and always show up โ even when no oneโs watching.
True hosting is about creating trust, comfort, and connection. Thatโs what keeps guests coming back โ not just a badge, but the effort and heart behind it.
So yes, Iโm proud to be a Superhost. But more importantly, Iโm proud to keep raising the bar for every guest who walks through the
door. ๐
Question to SUPER hosts or hosts:
1) What challenges have you faced in the last 3 months leading to superhost status?
2) How will you be raising the bar?๐
My answers:
1) Very late check ins (after midnight), and still having to look like "the host with the mostess" despite being half asleep.
Fixing niggling, tiny things immediately and trying to co-ordinate with guest departure dates and times.
2) Putting fresh flowers for female guests, not sure what to put for males ๐ค
Thanks so much for this post @C197.

Question to SUPER hosts or hosts:
1) What challenges have you faced in the last 3 months leading to superhost status?
Trying to get a lot of urgent maintenance done when there are gaps inbetween bookings to ensure your place doesn't smell like paint when guests check in! At least it's a great feeling when you do see the finished product and things are looking fresh and new again.
2) How will you be raising the bar?
I would like to add more child friendly items or activities to our farm. We have animals to interact with, kayaks, fishing and hikes to enjoy - but some more outdoor play areas would really go a long way to adding more fun for families that come to visit us.
Hi Rebecca, thanks for the invite! ๐ฟ
Hello, Superhosts โ glad to be sharing!
From my experience as a hostโฆ guests can be full of surprises ๐
1๏ธโฃ Challenges:
Guests sneaking out without paying, flipping mattresses, sneaking dogs into bed, and leaving towers of plastic bottles behind โ but hey, grace under chaos, right?
2๏ธโฃ Raising the bar:
Fresh flowers, books, and board games for couples, plus my signature freshly blended butterfly pea welcome drink ๐ โ because a happy guest always makes the chaos worth it! ๐ฌ
