Co traveler question

Hello,

I added a co traveler to my trip, is she able to read past messages I had with the host before adding her to the trip?

@Abdiel6 No, she won't have access to those messages. But she will receive a copy of the confirmation email, and if an Airbnb account is linked, your trip itinerary and reservation details will appear in her account under "Trips."

Can she also make a payment once invited to the trip? Pay her half.

@Abdiel6  I'm not sure - I think this might still  be possible if you chose to only pay 50% upfront at the time you booked. 

But based on my experiences, I recommend using the simplest payment method possible with Airbnb, since this is the part of the process where the most glitches and complications come up.

Hi Dear,
From what I know cotravelers can only see messages sent after you add them not the earlier ones. That way your past chats with the host stay private. Did you already add them and notice anything different?
