Covid cancellations

Airbnb just refunded a guest in full even when they cancelled AFTER Check in. That claimed Covid reasons and we were left hanging without pay. 

does anyone share the same frustration with Airbnb?

What were the 'COVID reasons'? Did the guest contract COVID or was it something else?
