As the year comes to an end, many of us reflect on how the last 12 months have gone. Whether it was full of ups, some downs, surprises or interesting meets, I think it’s safe to say we’ve all had yet another big year. ✨

2024 on Airbnb as a host:

It's been up; it's been down; it's been bliss; it's been bizarre.

My ONE word for 2024 as an Airbnb "baby" (3 months; 3 guests), is :

       INITIATION

I have even more regard for the hard work that goes on behind the scenes from the awesome support teams and staff at Airbnb and looking forward to learning and growing!

Accomplished.

2024 has been a truly accomplished year for me as a host. Navigating new challenges and seeing both this past summer and the upcoming one already fully booked has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve also enjoyed connecting with wonderful guests and contributing to this fantastic community.

It gave us a thrill to host guests and to get to know them and the why's of their visits. Our rental unit is not in a tourist destination and it's interesting to get some insights on the guests we host. We did get one "problematic" guest but overall I can say that we had a fantastic year 🙂
