Earth Day 🌏 Celebration - Partnering with a local business ☺️

Our host community, family and friends came together yesterday to clean up our coastline in Boynton Beach, south Florida to celebrate Earth Day 🌎 We partnered with one of our local businesses for their FIRST ever ocean cleanup, and it was a success! With the help of over 60 volunteers, we collected over 90 pounds of trash from Gulfstream Park! Just a part of our host community initiative of keeping Palm Beach County beautiful! We had so much fun 🏖️☺️!

Do you plan to make this an annual event? Also, any tips for rallying so many volunteers?

We have done Earth Day Coastal Cleanups for the past two years. Last year, we partnered with our Tourism Board for their annual Coastline Cleanup but this year, we wanted to partner with a local business as we feel it is important to form relationships with our local businesses, and when I found out this local business was sponsoring their very FIRST coastal cleanup, I knew it would be perfect for us ☺️ By both of us inviting family and friends, we were able to have a GREAT turnout for the event!
