Forwarding my references
Hi. I recently "de-listed my home in Cambria as of 12-31-19. I thought it would be a great idea (not) to move the listing to a property manager who would list my house on all the vacation rental sites. Turns out Airbnb were the majority of the bookings, and it didn't make sense to pay them a commission for something I already was doing.
I went to re-list my home and I somehow opened a new listing, same house, same everything. Is there a way to transfer the reviews to that new listing (same house)? The new listing has more information on it (since I learned about that feature with Evolve).
Any suggestions?
Wende

ps - another positive of a new listing is that it will get boosted up the search results for a little while to help you get establsihed.

Hi @Wende6
I'm not sure I completely understand your question.
Are you asking if there is a way to transfer all the reviews left for the listing when the property manager was the host to your new listing? If so, I'm almost certain there is not. Reviews are associated with HOSTS not physical properties. But if you were hosting independently before and got reviews, those reviews will still show against your hosting progress when guests look at your listing.
Don't quote me, but it will say something like "no reviews for this property yet. See other reviews left for Wende"
Or you could retrieve back your old listign with your original reviews - I have no experience with removing co hosts/property managers so I'll leave that bit for someone experienced in those matters to answer
Regards

This is excellent information. Thank you! And yes, I wanted my old reviews back that I earned on Airbnb.
I need to switch over to "guest" instead of "host" to see what my listing looks like. On my "listing" page it shows I've listed it twice!
I should have NEVER left Airbnb!!!
