Giving out location before booking

Hi all! If someone interested in your house asks for the address prior to booking, do you give it out? I got this question, I told them the street I'm on, and now I haven't heard anything else. Just wondering if this is some sort of scam.

Do not provide address in the pre-booking process.

Potential guests can see your (general or more specific) location on the map in the listing (Customize-your-map-location ), which should be sufficient to make up their mind regarding booking.
