Guests getting private feedback mixed up

Hi guys,

 

Has anyone ever had a guest who leaves the best part of a review in the "private feedback" section? It's happened to me a few times, but the last occasion got me.

 

My last guest left a really lovely positive review in the private section which obviously only I see. But in the public section, his message was "Does what it says on Airbnb".

 

I'm just thinking of posting a public reply on my Airbnb page with his private feedback, but not sure if that would appear naff!

 

Love to hear some feedback from other hosts.

Nick,

I contacted Airbnb myself regarding this last year and was given the following instructions.

Message your past Guest via Airbnb message platform. Request his/her permission to publish his/her positive comments.  After you receive his/her ok, cut & paste or take a screen shot of their positive comments and publish it in your listing photos.
