How close do you live to your listing? 📍

It got me thinking that not every host is just around the corner from their listing.

Some of you might only be a few minutes away, while others could be managing your accommodation from a completely different town, city, or even country.

How far away do you live from your listing, and roughly how long would it take you to get there?

Whether it's a quick five-minute drive or a flight across the world, it'd be really interesting to see just how spread out our community is.

We definitely enjoy it! However it's important to close the calendar from time to time, to prevent host fatigue (as Brian has called it once).

I get that. Like your 'hosting battery' drains and you need to recuperate! 🔋 @Till-and-Jutta0  How long do you usually press pause for when you need a break? 😊

Normally I’m only 3–5 minutes away by car if anything comes up, but at the moment I’m about a 20-hour flight away. 😂 Thankfully, everything can still be handled remotely, so guests are well taken care of.

I live in the Netherlands, and our 3 rental homes are 9,000 km away in Curaçao.
A local manager is looking after them

Oh my goodness @Bob297! I wonder if you're the host who lives furthest away from their listing? 🤔 It would be awesome to find out! 

Do you visit your listings and get to spend some time in Curaçao?

We try to go there twice a year. We won't make it this year, because we've planned a 7-week trip to New Zealand. (which is even further away :-))
