Speaking languages connects us with others and allows us to express ideas. Speaking more than one language is more than a skill; it becomes a doorway into cultures, perspectives, and opportunities. Whether learned for travel, work, curiosity, or personal growth, languages expand our understanding of people and places. 

Knowing another language is definitely helpful when hosting. How many languages can you speak?

I speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently.  I am comfortable conversing in French and I can hold basic conversations in Italian.
