Speaking languages connects us with others and allows us to express ideas. Speaking more than one language is more than a skill; it becomes a doorway into cultures, perspectives, and opportunities. Whether learned for travel, work, curiosity, or personal growth, languages expand our understanding of people and places. 

Knowing another language is definitely helpful when hosting. How many languages can you speak?

Well, because I knew in advance, that I will meet my dear friend @Shinya0 later!

No, just kidding. Many many years ago it was much easier for me to learn a new language. So we decided to start with Japanese, and it was very useful for travelling to Japan.

Should have started to learn Italian also earlier...

You’re honestly like a language genius. Even as a native speaker, I think Japanese is probably one of the most difficult languages in the world.

Well… I should probably finish the Spanish I’m currently working on in Duolingo first 😂

@Elisa That time there was no option to watch any foreign TV or movies - no internet 😉
