How to contact local hosts in my area without directly messaging their accounts and wrecking their booking and response rates?
My local town council is meeting next week to 'workshop' if they should pass bylaws to support STR. The town doesn't officially support but also doesn't search out renters. Hosts only have a problem if a neighbour complains. These workshops are open to the public and are looking for locals to come and communicate what they want to see happen. I don't know how to contact the other hosts in my town without directly messaging them and wrecking their booking rate percentage. Any idea how I can get the word out to them so we can talk to the town together about how beneficial STR are?

@Stephanie3449 If it is important I wouldn't worry about the host's stats. Just make it an enquiry and say they only need to respond and not click accept/decline.

Hello @Stephanie3449
That's a very thoughtful approach😊 It's a very important topic as STR regulations are changing fast the world over it seems.
Have you checked to see if there is an official Airbnb local host club for your town/area to communicate on this workshop?
Here is the link to check in case you need it:
Good luck!
