Hi, I'm Gabriela from Argentina. Hosting for 7 years now. I airbnb units in Miami. Earned superhost again & wanted to share it with the community.
Hello @Gabriela1889 😎
Congratulations and a huge welcome to the Community Center! It's great to have you here with us. We've started a new thread to celebrate you and other hosts who’ve reached Superhost status! 🎉
Thank you so much for coming by and sharing you achievement with us. I wondered if you would be able to share some Superhost inspirations for those who may just be starting their Airbnb journeys?
I guess hard work with a smile is the key. As simple as to love what you do. In my case, over the years I managed to create a tiny team who work toguether in the same direction to have our property just as we would like to find a space when we go on holidays ourselves. It really helped a lot to have videos just after cleaning, so we all know how the property will welcome our following guest. Over the years we have implemented some complimentary amenities that were of great help to guests (shower dispenser, basic cleaning stuff, basic cooking stuff). Checking weekly our rates and occupancy in the area is also very helpful. Hope this would help other hosts.
That's fab information, thanks so much @Gabriela1889. It does sound like you’ve sorted out a solid routine with your team. I like the idea of the extra amenities. I always notice when a place has got the basics like coffee (🙌 coffee is my life source) or shampoo sorted.
Hi @Rebecca, interesting question. To be honest, normally I add the basics I would like to find when I stay at any airbnb ... shower essencials, toiletteries (often very useful to keep your towels safe), breakfast basics (coffee, tea, sugar, stevia, salt, pepper, olive oil ...). Also I keep some cleaning basics at hand but not visible ... mainly that I guess
That sounds great @Gabriela1889 - everything your guest could need! Do your guests ask for anything when they stay that you haven't covered? Any odd requests?
@Rebecca Normally everything is pictured in the listing (because people prefer to scroll pictures before reading descriptions), but yes some prefer espresso coffee to french press coffee -that is what we offer- and in that case we suggest our local guides to find what they are looking for. For family travels we provide complimentary pack and play and some have asked for cribs (which we dont provide). We try to make things easy for ervery one, it's a short term rental -minimun 2 night stay- always taking into account that the more you provide, the more you'll have to check later ...
