Level 3 Escalation

Hello,

 

I am trying to get a review resolved that has a harassing and defaming nature. Does anyone know how long this will take to get resolved once it has gone to level 3 escalation?

 

Appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you.

I've never had to deal with Airbnb over any guest issues- it's only ever been tech issues, or policy clarifications that have required dealing with them. I don't think I would ever call them unless it was an emergency situation, because the couple of times I did call, I found it frustrating. Plus, I want a written record of what I've said and been told.

 

I have always found it better to communicate with them through messaging, rather than calling. For one thing, you can compose exactly what you want to say in the way you want to say it (the simpler the better) which is harder on the phone, as you never know what the person on the other end is going to say. And you may not feel so much like you're pestering if you aren't calling them. You can answer (or nudge them) on your own time and when you feel in a frame of mind to do that.

I would try to get the review removed because it is mostly irrelevant. The guest violated Airbnb pet policy by letting dog run around uncontrolled. This was not discrimination on your part, as even service animals have to be kept under control and that both you and your neighbor were startled when the dog charged in an aggressive manner. This has been a pattern for them, being trashy, disruptive, and dog breaking Airbnb policy. Anyway read up on the specific reasons that violate Airbnb review policy. Being irrelevant is one. Try to be truthful and concise. There is nothing in their review that would help other guest as you were only trying to get them to comply with uniform Airbnb and house rules, and you have a responsibility to your neighbors to keep keep your guest dogs under control.
