Hi l have been a host for about five years and have always paid extra insurance including damage by guests etc. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with Airbnb's new FREE insurance? Is it good enough to cancel my extra insurance covers??
Thank you.

@Marisa92 Firsty Aircover for damage is not an insurance so there is no one checking they are fair. Secondly it is not a new for old cover so anything a few years old will be depreciated to nothing. Finally if you don't have receipts you have no chance.

Thank you, it sounds like a rehash of the same thing we get already?

@Marisa92 Please understand that insurance offered by Airbnb is inadequate and will not replace the insurance that you have on your property. Protect yourself and your property by obtaining vacation rental insurance through a bonafide broker, not some online travel advertising company.

Hi there is anyone have issues at the moment getting payments out of AirBnB. I've received notifications of payouts completed, but there is apparently a technical issue they are working on - just seeing if this is a major platform wide issue?
