My guests booking

My guests booking

My guest who booked and was declined is now coming.  I have had no confirmation text from Airbnb.  How do I make sure that this booking is accepted recognised by Airbnb?

Does the reservation appear in your calendar, @Patricia2151 ? The dashboard has changed a little, but take a look at "All reservations" in the "Today" screen if you're working on a laptop. Don't just go by confirmation texts. 

Anyway, if the reservation does not appear there, then it is not valid. Don't let those folks in.

If I had declined the booking I would be disinclined to accept the guest regardless of what Airbnb did.

 

It's their mess and they can clean it up.

You can't decline a guest who has booked, you have to cancel them. You can only decline a booking request.

 

Which of the two happened in your case? What was the outcome of the situation?
