Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

Thanks @Rebecca  for your kind words . You have rightfully understood. I am looking forward to understand the methodology to get more enquiries of overseas customers . I am also thinking about domestic customers who basically are coming to Kolkata for their nearer dearer one treatment by staying for long days or other various reasons . In fact promoting for long stay customers which I believe the core value of our this platform for all our customers.

Has Airbnb Customer Support Changed? Feedback From a Long-Time Superhost:

I have been a dedicated Airbnb host, Superhost, and frequent guest for many years. Recently, however, I have noticed a significant decline in the quality of customer support.

I am increasingly encountering a pattern of conflicting information, frequent transfers between agents, and the need to repeat details multiple times without reaching a resolution. As a host, this lack of consistency is exhausting.

Airbnb is built on trust, and just as hosts are expected to provide professionalism and accountability, we should be able to expect the same from the support team.

I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with someone to share specific examples and provide constructive feedback. I would also be interested to hear if other hosts have experienced similar challenges recently.

Hello! I am currently "back home" in NW Atlanta, GA. I recently moved back from Charleston, SC where I spent 32+ years. I really love being a Co-Host and am hoping to expand the number of listings I manage. I love to paint (watercolor, acrylic and oils) and just took a dream trip to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum in Santa Fe, NM where I took some art classes. I fell in love with everything about that town and plan to go back as often as possible. Cheers! ☮️

I'm from Brazil. Me and my wife run an Airbnb in our country house, close to the city for the last year. We have a semi-detached chalet with two private studios by the river with all expected features in a tropical country house.
