Dear Community,

I have a few listings and want to put them into my wife's name/social security.

The "long story short" is that it will allow the earnings I receive now be taxed at

a lower rate than if I leave the listing in my name/social security number.

Any suggestions?  Thankyou!

@Rjgaurora3-Juno-Com0 Does the name on the listing affect who pays the tax in America? In the UK, if its a furnished holiday let the name on the listing is irrelevant.

If it does matter then I fear you will have to effectively create new listings as Airbnb doesn't allow people to transfer ownership.

Could your make your wife the co-host and direct 99% of the earnings her way?

Go here:  https://www.airbnb.com/account-settings/payments/tax-info and change the taxpayer (W-9) information.
