Wonder why it takes forever

My question is why you can have 5 to 10 5 star reviews and cannot gain a point but you received a 4 star and it automatically drops?

Yes it does feel that way!

If you put all the past ratings in a spreadsheet, however, you can see that it really is just the straightforward average. And you can calculate how many you need to get to a specific score, or what impact a low rating could have, etc.

But it still always feels like a bad rating weighs 10 times more ...
