new easy pricing?

I. want to understand the new "easy pricing" and it appears airbnb is just raising their fee and want guests to think it's the host pricing?

I continue to be surprised how so many hosts have such limited knowledge of the business they are in.

I suppose Airbnb can take some of the blame for this because they've tended to promote hosting as "easy money",  just upload some photos and sit back and watch the money roll in.
