Landlord & Short Term Rental Insurance

Our landlord has given us her written permission to run the property for short term rental through Abnb. But her insurance provider is denying to give coverage since this has been used for short term rental through a third party. None of the insurance agency provides this to the landlord. How can we get it resolved. We are located in Western Australia.

can any of our respected members assist us in this regard as we are new to this.

@Jiby1 Insurers can choose to insure/decline whatever risks they want. Your landlord's permission amazes me if they are then going to be uninsured.

You need home insurance for short term let's but I don't know if you can take this out a you're not the owner @Jiby1
