Hello, I'm Gvantsa from Georgia, Tbilisi. I'm a 36-year-old girl ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐI'm new here. I want to promote my small beautiful country. ๐๐๐
Hi @Gvantsa17 ๐,
welcome to the community center!
When did you start hosting?
I have never visited Georgia, but I heard they do really interesting wine.
Do you know anything about this?

I'm glad you responded @Elisa . I've been a superhost on this platform for two years and I really like this job. As for wine, yes, you're not wrong, Georgia is called the cradle of wine, the earliest remains of grape pressing and winemaking were found here. So it turns out that winemaking was born in Georgia. If you are interested in wine production, you should definitely visit Georgia. ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐๐๐
Dear @Elisa, if you visit Georgia, Tbilisi, I will definitely host you and introduce you to my beautiful country
โโThis is my grandmother's sister, who runs a vineyard in Georgia, in the Imereti region. The grape varieties are called Tsitska and Tsolikauri. The grapes are harvested around mid-October. The wine is white and light semi-sweet.
This photo, where only the vineyard is visible, was taken in the Kakheti region, where many varieties of grapes are grown, although we have a vineyard where we grow the Rkatsiteli variety, which produces a dry, semi-sweet and strong white wine. We harvest the grapes in my family's vineyard in mid-September, because Kakheti is a rather hot region, and the grapes ripen earlier. You can find information and see photos, if you love wine and are interested, you should definitely visit Georgia at least once.

Hi @Gvantsa17 ๐,
Thatโs fascinating, thank you for sharing this!
Georgia truly sounds incredible, especially with such deep winemaking roots and beautiful regional varieties. Your family vineyards in Imereti and Kakheti sound amazing. ๐
Have you ever considered hosting wine-related experiences or tastings for your guests?

Dear @Elisa, for now I only receive guests in my small apartment in Tbilisi, and if they are kind to me and express their desire, I always take them on excursions to a small town nearby called Mtskheta (Mtskheta is on the UNESCO World Heritage List). I always offer my guests Georgian wine, including my own, but I have not tried excursions to vineyards yet. I really want to and this is my dream, but unfortunately it is only a vineyard, not a chateau. In the future, I may plan similar activities and also make accommodations for tourists near the vineyards, because the excursion will be more comfortable.
Hi @Gvantsa17 ๐,
Your guests seem to have such a nice time at your listing. Itโs really beautiful!
I didnโt know about Mtskheta. Why is it so special to be on the UNESCO World Heritage List?
I would love to hear more about it! ๐
