24 Hour buffer

Does any know what criteria Airbnb looks at to drop the recommended 24-72 hour buffer recommendation between guests? Cases have plunged in my region but my management company won't consider lifting the buffer without some guidance from Airbnb. I would hate to see this become a permanent requirement.

@Mark1040 Sadly businesses are often very quick to bring in new rules/concepts and then do not review them even if the science suggests they should. I fear the enhanced cleaning protocol and buffer recommendations will be with us for years even though the population may be inoculated and the science is now clear that Covid is majority airborne.
