Hi,My wife (host ..., I am the co-host) has received an email saying that we won't be payed for bookings at our cottage unless she provides her taxation number. In Canada that is her Social Security number. One should never give that out in an email except to a bank or government agency. She has phoned Air BnB's help line twice and each time was told that a "specialist would call her back". So far that has not happened. What do we do now? Thank you, anyone, in advance for advice!

Nothing is mentioned about a "taxation number" in the HELP file:

@Richard2264 You surely don't need to email this to Airbnb. I assume it is just input in your personal details somewhere on the site.
