Airbnb SEO Optimization

Hi everyone,

Since I started hosting in California a few months ago,  I've been inundated with ads for companies that say they can increase your bookings  by 20-30% with their programs for a small fee. Has anyone tried one or have one they like? I've seen AnylsitingsSEO, Rankbreeze,  Hospitable, Intelihost and others. 

I'm curious what thoughts you may have. Thank you!

These are all marketing schemes from poorly run, large property management companies like Evolve, Vacasa and I have even seen Guesty. Type the names of the companies in the search the community box and you'll see all the negative comments. 

If you need help with your listing, suggest you hire an experienced short term rental consultant, experienced Co-Host and/or do your own research (plenty of free YouTube videos and internet sources for free info on how to improve visibility and understand the Airbnb SEO algorithm).

I would suggest you join your local host group on FB and ask for recommendations for local cohost who will know your local market .

Or if remote support might work for you @Joan2709 provides excellent advice on here so I'd be confident to suggest if might be worth a chat with her.

I totally get how overwhelming all those ads can be—there are so many options out there! While tools like Rankbreeze and AnylsitingsSEO can help with SEO, sometimes what makes a bigger impact is optimizing your listing itself (like photos and descriptions) and automating guest communication.

I appreciate the input. I guess my real questions is are they a scam? Do they provide more than what I am already doing ie pro photos, updating the listing, price structuring, etc. ?  But what I'm hearing is they are scam and I'm already doing what they would want me to pay them to do.
