I’ve been superhost for 4 or 5 years ( I’ve always been Superhost from day one I joined Airbnb ).
Before COVID Airbnb was amazing, payout for the hosts were done promptly, immediately after checked in and they gave us a phone number that we could actually contact someone.
After COVID, payments are delayed and they all reply that it will take up to 15 days to receive and the phone number for superhost never connects. Unless I attempt forever.
I am extremely worried, I count with Airbnb payments to pay all my expenses, including mortgage, utilities and now I am concerned that they are going through some financial problems and I shall be the last one to know. If that’s the case, I need to make alternative arrangements. Any thoughts?
I did not experience delays in payouts, payouts are processed on the day after check-in and it takes useally 1 day (outside weekends) to show up on my IBAN. So it seems to be local problem in your country.
Interesting. I live in Canada and prior to COVID, it was exactly like you said. The transfer was immediately. Now if I don’t call them after a week, they actually send a message saying that it’s going to take up to 15 days. Today I called and a few hours later the deposit was in my account. I hate have to follow up every time. This is the message they sent a day after the guest has arrived:

@Leila312 How is it possible to be a Superhost from day one? You have to earn it.
You are correct. I mistyped. I have been Superhost from the very beginning. When they did their first assessment and never lost the status
