Did anyone has the experience of rejecting claim from Airbnb?
I raised a claim with AirBnb's Air Cover for a non-functional AC after a guest checked-out of the house. I called a technician who tried to fix it but figured out that the main board in the compressor unit blew up. So he suggested to replace the unit that costed $3500.
Resolution center of AIrbnb asked me all the pictures, invoices of payments and detailed assessment by the technician which I gave in time. They still rejected my claim. How Airbnb expects host to trust them if they will not reimburse the damages? What is the Air Cover for that Airbnb boats about?
There is an email where they were ready to release the funds upon receiving the technician's assessment but they still declined it. And the salt on the wound is that Claim department is never available on the phone and communicate on emails. Every time I call Airbnb someone comes online and forward the message to the claim department that never resolves any problem.
